WOMEN IN BLACK

I was looking for harmony, geometries and beautiful, sinuous things: women are the height of curves. I tried to develop a project that would take into account the female shapes. I wanted to join them with rigid geometric lines, with colors able to blend the shapes together, with a hint of eroticism and lack of details.

This is Women in Black. A project which was somehow born out of boredom through which I tried to communicate the feminine essences based on a minimum use of colour for the compositions. There’s only a hint of red which represents passion.

Woman in black 1, a girl sitting on a chair who's looking down while her black hair creates a geometrical similarity with some semi-circles behind her.
Woman in black 2, a girl, immersed in a black liquid, is languidly covering her breast while looking towards you, the hair gets lost in the fluid and some big white leaves surround her.
Woman in black 3, a woman with short hair, a tall and slim figure with wide hips, the black and white background is divided in two and scattered by some sort of stars in contrast.
Woman in black 4, a naked girl, with curly ginger hair, is looking severely in front of her while in the distance red flowers with hearth-shaped leaves surround her.
Woman in black 5, an African girl with her hair wrapped in a turbant appears from tall grass, while a red sun is bashfully peeping out in the distance.
Woman in black 6, a Japanese girl with a bowl hair-cut appears naked from the water, in the distance mount Fuji lies in the background and peach petals surround her.
Woman in black 7, a girl sitting on the ground is looking right in front of her wrapping her arms around her own soft curves, hiding what every man would like to see.
